FAQs

We look for relevant experience working with children aged 5 to 11, along with a genuine commitment to teaching. Formal certificates are always useful, but what matters most is your skill, your professionalism, and your ability to inspire children!

Our instructor roles are part-time positions that take place during after-school hours, usually between 3:30pm and 4:30pm in term time. Each club runs for a full term, so once you’re onboarded, you’ll be teaching in the same school for the full 10–12 week period.

We run clubs all over London, and we’re adding new schools each term. We’ll always try to place you in a school close to where you live or work, so the travel stays simple and the hours fit comfortably around your day.

Yes. If you don’t have a valid Enhanced DBS, usually one issued within the last two years, we’ll help you apply for a new one. It’s an important step in keeping children safe and forms part of our safer recruitment process.

Absolutely. Many of our instructors balance other work or join us when the timing suits them. Please include your estimated availability in your application, and we’ll plan ahead for the upcoming terms.
